Intro to Forensics

This class is our Intro Course, and we examine STEM concepts as they relate to Forensics and solving Crime Scenes. The lecture, labs, case studies and exercises will cover many “CSI” labs including: recovering a fingerprint using fingerprint and powder, identifying fingerprint pattern type and the forms they take at a crime scene, Casting footprints, determining blood spatter and the trigonometry associated with angle of origin…. This is a very hands-on and interactive enrichment class for students and comes with a shoebox sized CSI Lab Kit containing supplies for the labs. Current or former Detectives teach this ‘live’ and on-line class.
