STEM Month Kick Off

Hosting Organization: Waldwick Public Library

County: Bergen

On March 10, 67 participants took part in a two-hour evening of engaging STEAM activities designed to spark curiosity and hands-on learning. A highlight of the event was the introduction of a new 3D printer, made possible through grant funding, which gave attendees the opportunity to explore innovative technology firsthand.

In addition to 3D printing, participants rotated through activities including robotics, design experiments, coding, circuitry, chemistry experiments, and spin art. The momentum continued throughout the month with four additional STEM-focused programs—three centered on robotics and one on flight-based experiments—helping to extend excitement and deepen engagement with STEM concepts beyond the initial event.
