Terra North Jersey STEM Fair

The TNJSF attracts high school entries from 10 counties of northern NJ, in all fields of science, engineering, mathematics, and technology. The in-person event will be held at Kean University, March 21-22, at the STEM Building. For 2026, our 42nd year, we have 205 experimental projects registered for the competition. The students will compete in a virtual judging round in February for the opportunity to present in person. The competition has major sponsorship from Terra Science and Education, and from Nokia Bell Labs. There is a second division for non-experimental Topic Presentations, with a later entry deadline (Feb 23), which has 11 entries at this writing (Feb 5). The judging will occur on Saturday March 21 and the morning of Sunday March 22, with the public event and award ceremony scheduled for Sunday afternoon and evening.
