STEM Carnival of Inclusivity Workshop

Join us for a professional development day at the STEM Inclusivity Carnival at NJCU! Participants will learn about STEM/STEAM and Maker Education as they build and redesign carnival games to meet the differentiated needs of all learners, especially students with exceptionalities. Students and educators from the A. Harry Moore Laboratory School will join us as we interact with the games and discuss ways to modify and differentiate the carnival experience for all. Participants will leave with an Educational Technology swag bag, as well as information on how to build these games with their students, and guidance on how to create a carnival of inclusivity in their school or community. A boxed lunch will be served. Parking is available underneath the Gilligan Student Union Building. The doors open at 8:30am and the workshop begins at 9am.
