The 2025 Makers Day STEAM Fair was held on March 21, 2025. The 4th grade students worked together to create activities on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math. At the STEAM Fair these 4th grade students lead activities for their classmates in grades 2 and 3. These activities included building NASA Straw Rockets, made Mini Lava Lamps and Lemon Volcano eruptions. They also had 3 D Math Geometry Shapes with Marshmallow and toothpicks and learned about balance scales. Students created some arts and crafts projects, built Catapult and Ball Launchers, Made Paper Circuits and ScribbleBot Robots and taught the other students how to build them and use them as well. As students came to the fair, they were able to freely participate in any of the activities and join in on the fun. The 4th graders had a great time hosting and learning about STEM through the creation of their activities and the 2nd and 3rd grade students had a blast participating in the event and look forward to the day in which they can be the hosts of the show!
