SUMMARY:FLSL Spring Equinox Celebration
DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the start of Spring with hands-on STEM activities exploring how sunlight shapes our seasons\, our food\, and our well-being. \nOn March 21\, day and night are nearly equal — a moment of balance as we move into spring. Through interactive stations\, families will investigate how the Sun influences Earth’s tilt\, plant growth\, and even our health. \nActivities included at this FREE program: \n☀️ Sun and shadow experiments\n🌍 Modeling how Earth’s tilt causes seasons\n🌱 Planting seeds to take home\n🌿 Exploring soil and sustainability science\n🥕 Nutritious snacks provided \nThis is a drop-in style event. Families may arrive anytime between 2:30–5:00 PM and move through stations at their own pace. \nRSVP is encouraged to help us prepare materials and manage space comfortably. \nWe are grateful to the New Jersey STEM Pathways Network for supporting this event through a 2026 NJ STEM Month Mini Grant.
