Faber Elementary School’s 2nd Annual Family STEM Night brought together students, families, and staff for an engaging evening of hands-on learning and exploration. Held in the school gym, the event created a lively, interactive environment where participants rotated through a variety of STEM stations designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking across all elementary grade levels.
Throughout the night, families worked side-by-side to tackle engineering challenges, conduct experiments, and test their ideas using the Engineering Design Process and inquiry-based learning strategies. These activities helped students make real-world connections while developing problem-solving, collaboration, and perseverance skills. With strong family involvement and a welcoming, community-centered atmosphere, the event successfully fostered a shared love of learning and empowered students to see themselves as future innovators in STEM.
