The New Jersey Junior Science & Humanities Symposium (NJJSHS) at Rutgers University
March 4 @ 1:00 pm - March 5 @ 5:00 pmFree
NJJSHS is an annual research fair held at Rutgers University that celebrates high school students’ novel investigations in science, engineering, and mathematics. Individual students compete for scholarships and recognition by presenting the results of their original research efforts before a panel of judges and an audience of their peers. In order to be eligible for participation, you must be a high school student who lives or Northern or parts of Central New Jersey. Every year, more than 10,000 students from secondary schools in 50 states, Puerto Rico, and schools of Europe and the Pacific, in cooperation with the Department of Defense, participate in the Regional Symposia administered by universities.
The Junior Science and Humanities Symposia (JSHS) Program is jointly sponsored by the US Departments of the Army, Navy, and Air Force, in cooperation with leading research universities throughout the nation. The Department of Defense generously provides funding for the National Symposium and JSHS scholarships.
