The Glass Volcano Workshop

GlassRoots joins with the NJ STEM Pathways Network, and educators across New Jersey, for a state-wide celebration of STEM and STEAM (STEM + Art) education throughout the month of March! The Glass Volcano Experience is a hands-on STEAM-based workshop that uses molten glass to teach 5-12th grade students about the science and behavior of volcanoes. Each workshop is designed to accommodate 10 to 25 students and includes four interactive components, including observation of simulated lava flow! The full value of this workshop is $712. Thanks to a generous subsidy we are able to offer this workshop for up to 25 students at deeply discounted prices. Workshops will take place at our studios at 10 Bleeker Street, Newark, NJ, 07102, in morning or afternoon sessions in March.
