YWCA Northern New Jersey is thrilled to invite you to support our annual STEM Day event for Women and
Girls, in celebration of US STEM Day, on Saturday November 16th, 2024, from 9am-2pm at Stevens
Institute of Technology, Hoboken, NJ. Our goal is to inspire and support pathways to STEM based careers
for women and girls.
This unique day of learning will include both a women’s speaker track, hands-on activities, a job fair (for
women), career presentations (for girls), and speed networking all designed to encourage participants
to disrupt gender norms, foster creative thinking and better understand the broad range of career
possibilities that are available to them.
The mission of the YWCANNJ is to advance gender equity, eliminate racism and enhance the wellbeing
of communities. Your participation is vital in helping shift the paradigm for women and girls and help
them to continue moving forward.
