The STEM Expo will introduce the community to a vast array of STEM programs and allow kids and parents to explore unique, hands-on STEM activities firsthand. Fun educational activities and displays will include: EV3 Mindstorms, Lego WeDo, Smart Car, Smart Robot, Astronomy Solar Viewing, drone flying and Build Your Own Lego Car Drag Races. Participants include Civil Air Patrol S.T.E.M. Kits, Rowan University STEAM Academy, Nexus Art, South Jersey Astronomy Club, New Jersey Aviation Education Council, Atlantic Shores Offshore Wind, Atlantic County Master Composter Program, NASA Solar System Ambassador, NJ Watershed Ambassador, FAA AvSTEM, Rutgers Master Gardeners, and the Rutgers Jacques Cousteau National Estuarine Research Reserve. PLUS, our Rover Observation And Discoveries in Space (R.O.A.D.S.) Challenge team, Sea Perch, and three-time NJ State Champion First Tech Challenge Robotics Teams will have their builds on display.
