Newark STEM Ecosystem
Newark STEM serves the counties of Essex, Morris, Passaic, Sussex, Union, and Warren in New Jersey. Our focus is to support activities aimed at college and career preparation, ultimately increasing students’ chances of entering the modern STEM workforce and becoming STEM-literate citizens.
Our goal is to align the needs of PreK-20 learners and educators with the resources provided by employers and funders, while identifying and
addressing gaps that must be bridged to ensure every student has the opportunity to excel in STEM fields.
Newark STEM Ecosystem (NSE) is part of New Jersey STEM Pathways Network (NJSPN), a program of the Research Development Council of New Jersey. NSE is composed of over 70 public and private organizations, focused on the counties of Essex, Morris, Passaic, Sussex, Union and Warren.
