Alexandria Township School will host our 3rd annual Makers Day event for the entire school (Pre-K to 8th grade) during the school day on March 11, 2026! This all-ages event connects individuals with libraries, schools, businesses, and independent makerspaces that support making, tinkering, crafting, manufacturing, and STEAM-based learning. We will have demonstrations from local makers including artists, a farrier, and a metal worker. Students will create and take home various science, technology and art related projects, including a 3D printed item, which the younger students will create with help from older “buddy” students to encourage problem solving and team building within our community.
