Brick City Bricks 4 Kidz STEM Showcase

Bricks 4 Kidz is a STEM Enrichment Program geared towards children ages 3-13 focuses on Model Design, Coding and Robotics all while utilizing LEGO Bricks. Brick City Bricks 4 Kidz exposes Essex County students to science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM) and architecture in an educational and entertaining environment; fostering their interest in STEM related classes and activities while encouraging parent-child interaction creating an atmosphere of sustained educational success.

Energy is essential in everything we do and our Afterschool enrichment students at The Center of Hope-Pennington Court in Newark, NJ will showcase model designs created in class that focus on the theme Energy is Everywhere. Our students are exploring many sources of energy from wind and solar power to biofuel and fossil fuel as they build motorized models such as the oil jack pump and windmill.
