Stokes State Field Trip | New Jersey STEM Month Event

Hosting Organization: Technology High School
Event Date: 4/2
Total Attendees: 36

On April 2nd of 2018, we were able to bring a group of students out to an experience that many of them had not had before. We ventured to Stokes State Forest after a snow-filled morning. Nothing could stop us and we soon made it to a location where students had the chance to hike through the forest, learn survival skills, become blacksmiths, and learn more about reptiles and amphibians. A post-trip survey showed us that every student gave high ratings for trip in terms of a positive experience! One student left feedback on the excursion by stating, “From this trip, I saw how beautiful nature is and how it is nice to go outdoors once in a while.” We’re glad to have been able to reach out to so many students with your help.
