Kinnelon Public Library Celebrates NJ STEM Month with Science Food Fest!

Kinnelon Public Library hosted Science Food Fest, an interactive food inspired science fair, organized and run by Caroline Balick with a generous grant from NJSPN and the Overdeck Family Foundation. This free community event took place in connection with New Jersey Makers Day. Caroline Balick and her team made posters explaining the science behind everyday foods and held a free tasting. Special guest food scientist Gerda Haines shared her perspectives and professional opinions on the food science topics addressed. The Kinnelon community greatly enjoyed this intriguing and interactive science inspired event.
